Burbank Boy Scout Troop 201 will host an Emergency Preparedness Fair to help the public “Be Prepared”. Scouts will demonstrate emergency first aid, vendors will be there with emergency supplies for sale and emergency responders will share knowledge.

On Saturday, October 17th, Burbank Boy Scout Troop 201 will host an Emergency Preparedness event as an open house from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Magnolia Park United Methodist Church, 2828 W Magnolia Blvd, Burbank, CA 91505 to help the public “Be Prepared” for the next emergency. The public is invited to the event where they can speak with members of the Fire Department, C.E.R.T. team, Red Cross, and Ham Radio operators who will share their emergency preparedness knowledge. Blue Can Emergency Drinking Water Company and other vendors will be offering emergency supplies for sale. The Troop’s Scouts and adult leaders will also demonstrate "go bags," emergency first aid, the rescue knot. Free copies of emergency preparedness leaflets will be provided and lunch will be available for purchase.
Boy Scout Troop 201 has been serving young men ages 11 to 17 in Burbank for more than 70 years. The Troop is dedicated to growing boys into men of outstanding character, good citizenship and strong physical health with a program focused on service, family and preparedness at home and in outdoor adventures.
