PARK LA BREA DISASTER DECATHLON
Come join your Park La Brea neighbors, MySafe:LA, the Los Angeles Fire Department, the American Red Cross and many others, for a disaster preparedness fair like you’ve never seen before! You’ll experience 10 different activity stations where you’ll learn vital skills to prepare and survive an earthquake.
Try out the Shakey Quakey House that simulates a real earthquake! Learn Hands Only CPR and how to use a fire extinguisher. Find out what you need< to pack in your emergency bag, for you and your pet. And practice Drop, Cover and Hold On!
Visit ALL 10 stations, and you’ll be entered into our raffle where you can win incredible prizes, including our Grand Prize - a cruise for 4 people on an LAFD Fire Boat!
