My brother and I crawled under the table and made mental calculations of possible debris and how it would affect our ability to evacuate the house. Then we grabbed our go bags and walked 3/4 of a mile to our first check point and evaluated how prepared we were for the weather and if our go bags were properly stocked. We have some things to work on, but it sure helped to go through the motions to understand the things we hadn't thought of before.
