The Douglas County ARES® called a net at 10:15 a.m. today for the Shakeout. Net controller was our Region G Coordinator for ARES® Ron Tost K0RGT and also Coordinator for Douglas County on our 2 meter repeater and also on the 440 repeater. The following checked into the net: KD0MEO Dale Garrison ARES® Coordinator for Wright County, KA0SAB Harold Hoffman Asst. Coordinator for Region G and also Asst. Region G Coordinator from Springfield by mobile, N0PYN Joe from Flat Rock in Eastern Douglas County, KD0QL Jeff from City of Ava, KC0OKP Teresa also from Ava. Each person gave us their location and that everything was okay at their location. Ron also checked to see if he could hear anyone on the MO Emergency Traffic Net HF.
