Summary:
Alabama EMA Director Art Faulkner will join Winston County officials at Haleyville High School to participate in the Great Central U.S. ShakeOut earthquake drill with students and teachers. “Schools in the Winston County district have chosen to be prepared for any type of disaster,” said Director Faulkner. “We are working together to prepare teachers and administrators to provide a secure environment for their students.”

WHO: AEMA Director Art Faulkner, Haleyville Mayor Ken Sunseri, Haleyville Fire Chief Phillip Weaver, Haleyville Police Chief Kyle Reogas, Superintendent of Education Dr. Clint Baggett, Principal Roger Satcher, students and teachers from Haleyville High School

WHAT: The Great Central U.S. ShakeOut

WHEN: Tuesday, February 7, 2012, 10:15 a.m. (Media will need to arrive no later than

10:00 a.m. to ensure you get the audio that starts the drill.)
