Summary:
Students will practice preparedness techniques and discuss ways to respond to an earthquake emergency.


Full Description:
The Natural Sciences Department of Motlow State Community College will be staging a brief earthquake drill in conjunction with the Great Central U.S. Shakeout event. On February 7, 2012, participating faculty will lead a 5-10 minute earthquake preparedness drill in their classes. The drill will begin at 10:15 a.m. and will last for just a few minutes, but it will reinforce the procedures to be followed in the event of a real earthquake.
