What I Learned
Being a Block Captain within my mobile home park, I participated in the ShakeOut on Oct 17, 2013 by going to designated residences on my list. I learned that I need to be direct with people by not allowing them to engage me in conversation as to their detailed experiences of having been in earthquakes and how are you today type questions.

In the Future
Shorten time with each resident and inform command post as quickly as possible.
