Full Description:
PathPoint is a non-profit organization assisting people with disabilities and/or disadvantages become productive members of their community. We offer employment, day, and residintial services. At the EVR site, which is an integrated work program, some individuals will be in the community working at job sites, and others will be at the physical site (2060 Parker Street) during the drill. We will practice drop, cover and hold during the drill, and what to do if the electricity goes out. We will practice calling our corporate office in Santa Barbara, in case we can not make local phone calls. Some of the individuals with disabilities have successfully completed CPR and first aid training. We will practice check, call, care too. (Last year we got a grant and also taught neighborhood safety socials where people live to talk about being prepared at their homes too.)
