Summary:
At Thompson's Building Supplies an exercies involving all employees and Fontana PD CERT & ECS will take place. CERT Search & Rescue Teams will deploy to search all of the Retail facility and storage covering 33 acres.


Full Description:
The entire staff of Thompson's Building Supplies (33 acres) in Fontana, Calif. along with Fontana Police Depart. CERT and Emergency Communications Services will meet at 0900 hours for briefings and Moulage of victims for the Disaster Simulation exercise. The employees will evacuate to a central location where attendance will be taken. At this time a CERT/ECS Command Post will be set up along with a Triage area. After attendance is taken CERT Teams with Ham Radio Operators will begin conducting searches of the Buildings and storage areas of Thompson's Building and Supplies. Ligth Search and Rescue will search find and tag appropriately victims found at the scene. A team from triage will then be dispatched to the scene of the victim(s) to transport them to triage for further assessment. At the same time Fontana PD ECS members will be radioing in to the command post to check and identify damage(s) in their areas of Fontana or Work place. Once victims have been found and identified and triaged an announcement of the event termination will be made and clean up will begin. Note: Periodic announcements from the CERT/ECS Command Post will be made to notify listners that this is just a Drill.
