Summary:
DesertArc, a non-profit aimed at enhancing the lives of people with disabilities, will do an organization-wide exercise at two locations, involving about 400 clients and staff.


Full Description:
DesertArc, a non-profit aimed at enhancing the lives of people with disabilities, will do an organization-wide exercise at two locations. The Palm Desert location will involve over 300 people. The Yucca Valley location will drill about 100 people. Both staff and clients will participate in the 10:21 a.m. Drop, Cover, & Hold On procedure, and continue the exercise through the evacuation phase, ending at about 10:45 a.m.. Afterwards the Emergency Response Team will meet to discuss the scenario, and for further practice until noon.
