SF General Hospital & Trauma Center will host "Quake But Don't Break" Community Seismic Safety Fair on Sat., Oct. 23, 2010 from 9 AM to 12-noon. The fair will feature interactive displays, models, videos about the hospital rebuild project, seismic retrofit, and disaster preparedness.

SF General Hospital & Trauma Center will host "Quake But Don't Break" Community Seismic Safety Fair on Sat., Oct. 23, 2010 from 9 AM to 12-noon. The fair will feature interactive displays, models and videos about the hospital rebuild project and the new hospital's earthquake resistant design. Other disaster preparedness capabilities include a base isolation foundation, flex resilient windows, etc. Preparedness information and disaster kits components will be given out. DEM, NERT, 72hours.org and other organizations will also be participating.
