Full Description:
The LA County Board of Supervisors will proclaim Thursday, October 21, 2010 as the "The Great California ShakeOut Day" in LA County. The Los Angeles County Operational Area is the largest Operational Area in the nation with 88 cities, 137 unincorporated areas, and more than 200 special districts. This special presentation will be first on the agenda and will be featured on the new LA County Channel as well as covered by the Hall of Administration media corp. Due to a holiday, the meeting will begin at 1:00 p.m. instead of the regular 9:30 a.m. start time.
