Full Description:
How your organization and our entire community recovers from a disaster depends on the preparedness measures put in place today. The American Red Cross and its partners makes preparedness easy by offering the Disaster Preparedness Academy (DPA), an event focused on teaching organizations and businesses how to prepare for, respond to, and recover from disasters.

The DPA includes:

- 23Workshop sessions on topics such as Earthquakes, Terrorism, Active Shooter Incidents, Evacuation, Drills & Exercises, and more.

- Resources to assist organizations take the next step in preparing for disasters

- Exhibitors providing information and products that will help everyone prepare for, respond to and recover from disasters.

- Pre-Academy Session: Tuesday, Oct. 21 – A hands-on, skills focused training on triage, search and rescue, and first aid.
