This one-day symposium presents a critical opportunity to highlight the strengthening of Bay Area lifelines since the earthquake, and to spur the work required to make Bay Area cities and communities more resilient to future earthquakes. Local, state, and national elected officials are being invited to participate along with experts in public policy, engineering, mitigation, and resilience, as well as community advocates, to participate in panel discussions with a focus on recommendations for community resilience planning for future regional earthquakes.
