Full Description:
On October 18th, join the Natural History Museum for the Great California Shake Out! A whole day dedicated to raising awareness and understanding of earthquakes. From 9:30 am - 12:00 pm students of all ages are welcome to stop by and learn more about the science and safety of earthquakes at our Exploration Stations. 6th - 12th grade, sign up to participate in a special lecture and demonstration given by our own museum scientists. At 10:18 am we'll all participate in a museum-wide earthquake drill!

To join us that day, request a school visit on on-line. If you are interested in signing up for the lecture, please leave a note in the comments section of the form. Space is limited, and will be assigned on a first-come first-serve basis
